A timeless and elegant Milwaukee wedding at the Historic Pritzlaff Building
In the heart of Milwaukee, amidst the historic charm of the Pritzlaff Building, Carley and Michael exchanged vows. Additionally, their celebration epitomized natural, classic elegance with a touch of sophistication. Their wedding, held in October, was a testament to their love, style, and also the beauty found in simplicity.
The couple started their day by getting ready at the gorgeous Iron Horse Hotel nearby their venue. The couple enjoyed special time with those closest to them then had an intimate first look at the hotel before heading to the venue for the ceremony and reception.
From the moment guests entered the venue, they were a part of the experience of understated grandeur Carley and Michael wanted to create. The space, adorned with pillars and draping also, provided a stunning backdrop for the couple’s nuptials. Carley and Michael’s vision for their wedding was clear: they sought to create an ambiance that was both timeless and reflective of their personalities.
One of the defining elements of the day was the exquisite floral arrangements crafted by Jane Kelly Floral. The green florals, chosen with care, struck the perfect balance between neutral and unique, illustrating the adage that less can indeed be more. These arrangements, with their earthy tones and sophisticated elegance, set the tone for the entire affair.
The choice of the Pritzlaff Building as their venue was a deliberate one for Carley and Michael. Consequently, they wanted their guests to experience a piece of Milwaukee’s rich history and charm. Additionally, the venue provided the perfect setting for their celebration.
After the heartfelt ceremony, guests were treated to a culinary experience curated by Chef Jack’s. Passed appetizers delighted the palate with a plated meal to follow, while a live band provided a soundtrack of love and joy. The reception space, unveiled in all its splendor, was a sight to behold.
The couple designed their King’s Table to be the focal point of their reception space. Consequently, it’s the most heavily photographed area of the reception, which is wise! Always a smart place to invest some extra touches–especially on the ceiling above the table!
But the festivities didn’t end there. “Carley and Michael had planned some unique additions to the day. Consequently, their wedding would be an unforgettable experience for all, ensuring lasting memories for everyone involved. A bourbon and chocolate tasting in the venue’s historic vault added a touch of indulgence, while a late-night empanada truck provided a savory treat that kept the party going well into the night.
As the evening drew to a close, guests danced the night away to the tunes of Milwaukee Airwaves, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Carley and Michael’s wedding was a true reflection of their love and commitment to each other. Additionally, we were honored to be a part of their special day.
