I didn’t set out to become a wedding planner — but my path in hospitality led me exactly where I was meant to be.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with a degree in Advertising and PR, I spent over a decade working in events and hospitality, eventually becoming a sales manager for a catering company. Along the way, I gained hands-on experience in nearly every role — from service to operations — giving me a deep understanding of how weddings come together behind the scenes and what it truly takes to execute them seamlessly.
In 2016, I founded Heather Farr Events to bring that experience directly to couples in a more personal and meaningful way.

Today, I guide clients through the planning process and thoughtfully curate vendor teams that reflect their personalities, priorities, and vision. My approach is detail-driven yet relaxed, rooted in strong relationships and clear communication — so that every piece of the day comes together with intention.
Because when the right team is in place, the experience feels different. Planning becomes more enjoyable, the day flows naturally, and you’re able to be fully present — not managing logistics, but soaking in every moment.
When I’m not planning weddings, I’m at home with my husband and two kids — usually with coffee in hand and enjoying the everyday moments that make life feel full.

As a 2026 bride herself, Samantha offers a uniquely personal perspective—truly understanding the needs, emotions, and priorities of our couples and their families. Her thoughtful approach and passion for creating seamless, memorable experiences make her an invaluable part of the planning journey.
