When I graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee just after 9-11 fresh-faced with a degree in Advertising and PR, I certainly was not thinking about becoming a wedding planner. Jobs were suddenly scarce, so I took a job bartending and waitressing and quickly found that every skill I had learned in college translated into what I was doing. I set my sights on being the best darn bartender and waitress that I could be while I figured out what was next.
The universe has its plans (I met my husband at that bartending and waitressing gig), and over the next decade, I worked my way up the banquet and hospitality ladder to eventually become a sales assistant and then sales manager for a catering company for many years.
I’ve never forgotten those early days of hard work, and I’ve done literally every single job in hospitality, from busing tables to serving meals to mopping floors. I understand the role of good vendor relations from both sides!
Starting my own wedding planning business in 2016 brought it all full circle. Now I get to use all of my skills to help people with all the ins and outs of planning one of the best days of their lives. It’s the most rewarding thing in the world, seeing two people and all the people who love them in a room that is full of the magic of their wedding day.
When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll find me hanging out with my husband and two kiddos, hair in a messy bun and coffee in my hand. Life is good.

Amazing. God-sent. All the things. They handled everything, and it was such a blessing to be able to enjoy our day because we knew all the important things were in good hands. We absolutely loved working with them.
